Sardar Jalaloglu: “The fact that Clinton hasn’t met with opposition must be evaluated as USA’s attitude to elections in Azerbaijanâ€

APA reports that the chairman of ADP Sardar Jalaloglu said that the opposition was late in putting the election problem to the discussion. He mentioned that opposition party always remained far from democratic environment and therefore it stepped aside these values too. “First, I will say that we don’t appreciate the values we defend. Everyone is busy with his own ranking, but people and democracy suffers from itâ€.
Jalaloglu said that some points were clarified within the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s visit to Azerbaijan: “The fact that Clinton hasn’t met with opposition can be evaluated as USA’s attitude to elections in Azerbaijan. It means that opposition won’t be given any support.†ADP chairman also criticized the European Court of Human Rights’ attitude to the issues on Azerbaijan.
Event moderator and member of Coordination Council of Public Chamber Vidadi Mirkamal protested Jalaloglu’s speech: “Sardar bey had very pessimistic notes. That’s why it became known why people leave the rows of ADPâ€. Mirkamal added when people hear these pessimistic notes they want either to leave this county or to love this government.
The next objection came to Jalaloglu from the head of Musavat Party Isa Gambar. He said that a lot of efficient issues were discussed at the conference. Some problems were introduced in a system form and new approaches were also offered. Gambar said he was surprised with Jalaloglu’s speech: “In any case I consider that Public Chamber achieved its goals by organizing this conference. There are political components of this problem and we don’t want to lose control of this issueâ€.
