Public Chamber wants dismissal of PACE coreporters from their posts

Baku â€“ APA. The Coordination Council of Public Chamber held a meeting on June 20. Public Chamber told APA that the socio-political situation in the country has been discussed at the meeting. The formation of election environment was a main theme of the meeting. It was decided to invite party leaders, human rights activist, lawyers, as well as representatives of the Intellectuals Forum to the â€œElection hearingsâ€ which will be held in the office of Musavat Party on June 21.

At the meeting, it was also decided to make an appeal to the Council of Europe on dismissal of PACE coreporters Pedro Argamunt and Jozeph Debono Grech from their posts. The Council considers that these co-chairs make speeches from the position of the government of Azerbaijan.

The other issues were also discussed at the meeting and relevant decisions were made.
