Protest action attempt outside Azerbaijani parliament prevented

Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. A group of members of “REAL†movement attempted to organize a protest action outside the building of Azerbaijani parliament due to expected amendments and annexes to the Law on right to obtain information. The protest action was prevended by the police, APA reports.
Co-chairman of “REAL†movement Ilgar Mammadov, co-founder Natig Cafarli and the member of organization staff Azar Gasimli were detained by the police and moved away from the site.
“REAL†movement said that the amendments and annexes to the law are contrary the international conventions Azerbaijan joined and also against the country’s Constitution.
