APFP chairman Ali Karimli leaves Baku City Main Police Office

APA reports that Ali Karimli left not giving statements to journalists.

Before coming to the office, Ali Karimli told journalists that people on civilian clothes knocked his door yesterday and he didnâ€™t open the door. Then the press and human rights activists were informed about it. In the morning, I received summon signed by police major Ismayil Aliyev and I was summoned to the Baku City Main Police Office. Karimli said that he had not violated the law.

Spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Sadig Gozalov told APA that several people, who attempted to rudely disturb public order and were arrested by police, said in their explanatory notes that APFP chairman Ali Karimli instigated them this case: â€œThatâ€™s why Ali Karimli came to the police office and gave an explanation. Karimli did not respond to phone calls and two police officers went to his house to give him summon yesterday. But nobody opened the door. This morning, two police officers came this address several times and finally they gave him summon at 09:40.â€
