Public Chamber releases information on detainment of Musavat deputy chairmen, Baku City Main Police Office denies it â€“ <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

Press Center of the Public Chamber told APA that Aslanli was brought to Nasimi District Police Office, Yagublu â€“ to Surakhani District Police Office.

Deputy Chief of Baku city Main Police Office, police colonel Sahlab Baghirov told APA that the information about arrest of above-mentioned persons by police was incorrect: â€œWe have no information about itâ€.

Baghirov underlined that the police wouldnâ€™t offer an opportunity for any organization to hold any unauthorized action. He noted that the organizers of the Public Chamberâ€™s unauthorized action scheduled for today were invited to the Baku city Main Police Office: â€œThey were warned. It was said that holding of action uncoordinated with the Baku city Executive Power, was unacceptable and police wouldnâ€™t permit itâ€.

Baghirov said that the staff of the Baku city Main Police Office worked with all might for ensuring the public order in the capital, announced once again that the attempt of the so-called Public Chamber organization to hold unauthorized rally infringing the order and legislation would be prevented.

Representatives of the Public Chamber â€“ Musavat Partyâ€™s deputy chairman Gulagha Aslanli, APFP deputy chairman Asef Guliyev, member of the Public Chamber Coordination Council Ibrahim ibrahimli, Musavat Partyâ€™s members Chingiz Ali, Fazil Mehdiyev and Idris Amiraslanov were called to the Baku city Main Police Office yesterday.

The Office warned the representatives of the opposition parties on the postponement of Public Chamberâ€™s action scheduled for 13.00 today outside the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
