APA reports that the Head of State cut the red ribbon symbolizing an official opening of the Baku Funicular.

President and his spouse closely became familiar with the condition of Baku Funicular after its capital reconstruction.

The funicular will be free for the capitalâ€™s residents and guests till May 29.

Then the President and his spouse also have inaugurated pedestrian subway which was constructed in Azadlig side street at the Mikayil Huseynov street.

Then the President and his spouse looked at the facade of the Azerbaijan National State Carpet and Applied Art Museum, which was constructed in the National Seaside Park.

President Ilham Aliyev also saw the part of the National Seaside Park till the State Flag Square. He also became familiar with catering establishments near the square.
