Azerbaijani parliamentarians criticize Iran â€“ <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

YAPâ€™s Deputy Executive Secretary Mubariz Gurbanli said unfortunately Iran has same position with Armenia: â€œIt was logical that our youth held an action outside the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijanâ€.

He also commented on the recall of the Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan and underlined that this case was unacceptable.

MP Ganira Pashayeva supported Gurbanliâ€™s words: â€œAt first they said that a gay-parade would be held in Baku. When Azerbaijan denied this fact, they said that it was contrary to Muslimismâ€.

MP Azay Guliyev said Iranian regime intended to use Azerbaijanis in this country against the Republic of Azerbaijan. â€œI address our compatriots in this country â€“ donâ€™t turn into a tool in the hand of the Molla policyâ€.

Guliyev said that unfortunately some forces in Azerbaijan joined the anti-Azerbaijan campaign: â€œI address the members of the Public Chamber not to make steps against Azerbaijan on these days. It is possible to continue political ambitions after the Eurovision song contest tooâ€.

Chairman of All Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev said that if gay-parade takes place most probably it would be in Tehran. â€œBoys are more protected than girls in Iran. Yesterday I read a statement of Iranian official that the rate of girls smoking hookah increased in the country. Iran must remove its own problems instead of protesting usâ€

MP Ilham Mammadov also shared the opinion of his colleagues. He criticized the oppositionists who hold unauthorized actions these days.

YAPâ€™s deputy executive secretary Siyavush Novruzov reminded that Azerbaijan stated many times that it will not allow use of its territory against Iran. â€œWhat we should say more? Iran canâ€™t overcome America and tries to compensate it pressurizing Azerbaijan. Where is their Muslimism, where is Islam? Iranian ambassador was recalled now. Ambassadors have to establish friendly relations between the countries. This ambassador didnâ€™t do it. What he will speak there?â€
