Azerbaijanâ€™s ruling party condemns intention of Public Chamber to hold unauthorized rally during Eurovision

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œAll opposition, either the Public Chamber or other organizations were provided with all opportunities to hold mass actions. They used these opportunities several times. At the same time, it became clear that the Public Chamber and the other oppositional parties can gather a few people in their rally. Azerbaijani people lost confidence in the opposition today and donâ€™t accept their call. Thatâ€™s why the opposition chose another â€œtacticsâ€ and wants to use provocative methods. They claimed to hold mass rallies in the places of the city where it is impossible to hold ralliesâ€, said Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov, APA reports.

Ahmadov condemned the intention of the Public Chamber to hold unauthorized rally in the capital during the Eurovision Song Contest: â€œThe opposition discredit itself with its injudicious actions which are against the interests of our people. I condemn it strongly and consider it inadmissibleâ€.
