Public Chamberâ€™s session considers holding rallies on May 13 and 19 plausible

APA reports that in his speech, Chairman of APFP Ali Karimli positively assessed the PCâ€™s activity for last month, underlined the significance of holding mass rallies this month too. Karimli noted the importance of taking necessary steps towards extension of relations between diplomatic missions functioning in Azerbaijan and the Public Chamber. He underlined the importance of cooperation with the Forum of Intelligentsias.

In their speeches, PC member Arastun Orujlu, Mustafa Hajibeyli, Panah Huseyn, Nuraddin Mammadli, Ilgar Huseyn, Soltanhamid Majidov, Fazlin Mehdiyev noted the importance of holding mass rallies in fight against the government. It was proposed to hold the rallies with â€œArrest meâ€ slogan.

Musavat Chairman Isa Gambar noted the importance of holding rallies in May: â€œIf it is needed, we must hold rallies during Eurovision on May 20-23. If our friends are not set free, we are ready to struggle and be imprisonedâ€.

The sessionâ€™s statement was adopted, the establishment of the press center, holding of rallies on May 13 and 19 were put to vote after the speeches.

The session considered plausible to establish press center and hold the rallies in above-mentioned dates, entrusted the Coordination Council to determine the details on holding the rallies.
