Siyavush Novruzov: â€œThe purpose of the opposition is to create confrontation but no to hold a peaceful rallyâ€

They have few supporters and canâ€™t fill that place. However this place is a good repaired high level stadium. They couldnâ€™t fill one third of that stadium, and now they say that they want another placeâ€, Deputy Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Siyavush Novruzov told APA. He said that the Public Chamber wanted to hold rallies in impossible places: â€œThey donâ€™t have a potential to hold rally. They must go to the confrontation and they will take this step because they donâ€™t t have this potentialâ€.

Novruzov said that the ground in Bibiheybat settlement was very suitable for rally: â€œThey can hold there a rally everyday. This place is close to the city center. For example, there is not even 1 km distance between the State Flag Square and the rally venue or there is 1.5 km distance between the Palace of Hand Games and there. Now Baku Boulevard is being extended by 7 km. Let them go to the boulevard and hold there a rally. Anyway they say that there is a route problemâ€¦ You know all whatever they say is a pretext. Their purpose is to create confrontation but no to hold a peaceful rallyâ€.

Novruzov also commented on the last statement of French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller: â€œThe term of office of the French ambassador to Azerbaijan is expiring. It doesnâ€™t become any ambassador to use such expressions at that time. As if he just wants to show â€œthe European solidarityâ€.

MP said that the ambassadors must work for strengthening of relations between both countries but they must not contribute to the aggravation of relations.
