Ali Hasanov: â€œThe developments in Kazakhstan or Russia can not effect Azerbaijanâ€

We have witnessed it in the past three years: after the events in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and other countries, we see some changes in the actions of Azerbaijani oppositionâ€, Chief of the Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

The department chief said to achieve success and to be hopeful of success in Azerbaijan, it is necessary to rely upon the will of the people, voters. â€œIf they donâ€™t meet the will of the people, all of their wishes and plans are self-defeating. We never identify the events happened outside of Azerbaijan with the events happened inside the country. There is no relation between these events. What a relation can a small conflict in Kazakhstan, domestic socio-political processes in Russia or other countries have to Azerbaijan? Every country has own self-regulation mechanism, which based on the government-people relations. If the government relying upon the will of the people expresses the needs, wishes and desires of the people, this government is strong, stable and someoneâ€™s attempts to make quarrel in the society invite failure. If the government doesnâ€™t meet the needs of the people and is not supported by the people, such societies are fragile. There is unanimity between the government and the people in Azerbaijan. The governmentâ€™s policy is supported by the people. Therefore there is no ground to experience such processes in Azerbaijanâ€.
