Azerbaijani President: It is possible that Armeniaâ€™s political and diplomatic failure is not limited to the diplomatic arena

As a result, this drop can be said, not allowed, so that the overall rate was high. But such a goal and not posed. Our economy, our economic structure is largely changed for the better. Thanks to the work that was done for the previous period and will be done in the coming years, our economy will reveal itself as a fully diversified economy. That is, started earlier today and realized projects in the true sense of the word, made an enormous contribution to the economy of Azerbaijan. As regards the development of industrial production, again by reducing oil production overall is negative. But non-oil sector of the economy achieved growth of 9.2 percent. This growth was made possible by investments in real sector of economy, development of entrepreneurship. This is the result of loans and programs adopted for the development of entrepreneurship and a highly successful public policy. Thus, the task set a few years ago to create powerful industrial potential in the country, successfully carried out. Large companies is creating, large industrial parks are beginning to work. At the same time increasing the activity of small and medium enterprises, increasing their number, and, I repeat, and the reason for this growth is that the state has a very large private sector support, to lend. One reason for this growth lies in the fact that specific measures to transform state-owned companies in the international. Now, our state-owned companies were strong in terms of companies and professionalism, and logistics, and technical equipment, - the Head of the State said.

The President said that during 9 months of this year exchange reserves have increased by about $ 11 billion. â€œAt present, Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign exchange reserves exceeded $ 40 billion. This is a very high figure. If you pay attention to the performance of the developed countries, we can see that in this field Azerbaijan does not lag behind anyone. If we consider that we have the correct oil and gas policy and strategy that we are constantly investing coordinate with expected revenues, there is no doubt that we have in the coming years will further increase our foreign exchange reserves without reducing investment and social spending. This is our greatest asset. This gives us economic power, allows implementing investment projects and, at the same time, protects and will protect us from all difficulties and crises. The main reason for the accumulation of such foreign exchange reserves is related to the creation of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan in 1999, and the transparency of its activities. All received revenue is stored and managed transparently, reliably, and at this stage are directed to projects related to the development of our country. At the next stage, starting from next year, to diversify our funding, we will use these funds in the form of investments in various projects in different countries. In short, issues related to economic development in our country are being successfully solved. It is not accidental that international financial institutions highly appreciate the ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan in economic and social spheres, rising credit ratings of Azerbaijan. At that time, as in the crisis years of credit ratings of the developed countries are falling, credit ratings of Azerbaijan rise. An influential organization in the world - the World Economic Forum in its next report on the competitiveness of countries, praising the activities of Azerbaijan, has awarded its 55th place. According to the Head of the State the possibilities of our country and its growing prestige in the international arena exemplified by a recent UN vote. â€œAs you know, Azerbaijan has applied to become a member of the UN Security Council. To achieve this goal in recent months, our diplomacy has had a great job. An interesting history of this vote. Perhaps the Azerbaijani public does not know about it. I can say that at the preliminary stage of Armenia together with us and has made his candidacy.

However, a few months ago, probably thought and realized that they were not able to compete with Azerbaijan in the diplomatic arena, and very quietly withdrew his candidacy. That is, it shows that they are helpless in front of Azerbaijan and confess it. Know that their expansionist policies pursued against Azerbaijan, aggressive policy, and their dirty deeds and evil plans can never be supported by the international community. On the contrary, the world community condemns and will condemn it. As a result, Armenia very quietly has withdrawn his candidacy, that no people, no country know about it. I hope that in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict they will demonstrate the same approach, will think and finally will realize that they can not and will not be able to compete with Azerbaijan in any field. The sooner they realize this better for them. Because their political and diplomatic failure, the failure of the elections to the UN Security Council, is not be limited to the diplomatic arena. Azerbaijan is a strong state, and neighbors generally want to be friends with strong neighbors. With regard to the election, they are still continuing. Held several rounds. In the first round, Azerbaijan was the first place. In the second and subsequent rounds of Azerbaijan is also ahead by a wide margin. Be a reliable partner - this is a very big responsibility and a great achievement. We really trusted partners. Someone can like our policy, some do not. Weâ€™re not trying to please everybody. We conduct our policy. Azerbaijan is a trusted partner. There are no discrepancies between our words and deeds there are no discrepancies between our words and signature. Building trust is not easy, especially for the young independent state. We recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of our independence, spoke about the great successes and future plans. I can say that the support of 113 countries of Azerbaijan is a logical result of 20 years. In short, we repeat, there are specific programs, plans, policies related to the situation in the country, the ongoing reforms in the country, as well as carrying out foreign policy.
