Prosecutor demands punishment for 4 persons detained during Public Chamber’s April 2 rally

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. The judicial process is held in Nasimi District Court on the criminal case of Ulvi Guliyev, Ahad Mammadli, Elnur Majidli and Rufat Hajibeyli, who were detained during Public Chamber’s (PC) unauthorized April 2 rally. APA reports the prosecutor made a speech at the process. The state accuser wanted to sentence Rufat Hajibeyli to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment, Ulvi Guliyev to 4 years and 6 months imprisonment, Elnur Majidli to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment, Ahad Mammadli to 4 years and 6 months imprisonment.

The lawyers are making speech at the process now.

The criminal case has been launched on April 2 incidents within the Criminal Code’s articles 233 (Organization of actions promoting infringement of a social order or active participation in such actions) and 315 (Resistance or application of violence concerning the representative of authority). 14 persons were brought to the criminal responsibility.
