Known when New Azerbaijan Party will hold next congress

APA reports that the preparations for the reporting back conferences are being held in line with the regulations of the YAP.

The meeting of the chairmen of the regional and city organizations of the YAP was held on September 24. Addressing the meeting Deputy executive secretary of YAP Siyavush Novruzov informed the participants about the recommendations prepared in accordance with the instructions.

APA has obtained information that reporting back conferences of the regional and city organizations are also connected with the preparations for the next congress of YAP. The next â€“ 5th congress of the party will be held in 2013.

The 4th congress of YAP was held on August 2, 2008. Ilham Aliyev was unanimously elected as chairman of the party. It was also decided unanimously to put forward YAP chairman Ilham Aliyevâ€™s candidacy for the next presidential elections (October 15, 2008).
