Regional Information Center for disabled opened in Ganja

Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Regional Information Center for disabled people in Ganja, APA reports. The Regional Information Center in Ganja is one of the projects sponsored by Heydar Aliyev Foundation for integration of disabled people into society. It will organize IT training courses for the disabled people.

The head of state cut a ribbon symbolizing the inauguration of the center and became acquainted with it.

The center was established jointly by Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. It has reading room, training center, audio-library, recording studio for turning the library fund into audio-format and computer center.

More than 60 000 disabled people from Aghstafa, Dashkesan, Gazakh, Gedabey, Samukh, Tovuz, Goygol, Shamkir regions and Naftalan town can use the opportunities of the new regional information center.
