BAXCP chairman submits draft law on the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the parliament

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. All Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (BAXCP) put forward a lawmaking proposal. The party submitted a draft law on the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the parliament on Monday, BAXCP press service told APA. 12-article draft law purposes to determine status of the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan occupied as a result of Armenian military aggression and to implement special legal regime in those territories. The draft law describes the occupied territories of Aghdere region, Hadrut region, the occupied territories of Khojavend region, Khojaly region, town of Khankendi, town of Shusha, Lachin region, Kelbejar region, Gubadli region, Zangilan region, Jabrayil region, the occupied territories of Fuzuli region, the occupied territories of Aghdam region, the occupied territories of Gazakh region, Kerki village of the Sadarak region of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as the occupied territories.

The experience of the Republic of Georgia was used during the elaboration of the draft law.
