Protest action held outside Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Co-chair of the WAC, MP Sabir Rustamkhanli, members of the Azerbaijani and European representations of the organization participated in the protest action. Though the police didnâ€™t let the protesters approach to the embassyâ€™s building, the protesters could read their statements. Rustamkhanli said that Iran intervened in Azerbaijanâ€™s internal affairs, it cooperated with Armenia and the activity of this Islamic country didnâ€™t coincide with Muslim solidarity.

WAC co-chair underlined the violation of rights of Turks in Iran. The protesters called on the international community to ensure cultural rights of the Azerbaijani Turks in Iran.

The protesters chanted â€œLet Azerbaijan to be united and Tebriz to be its center!â€ and â€œDeath to Persian reaction!â€

Then the protesters presented their statement to the embassy. The statement reads that if their demands are not fulfilled, they will hold durable protest actions outside the embassyâ€™s building.
