Ali Ahmadov: â€œThe Azerbaijan-related materials released by the â€œWikiLeaksâ€ are the fictitious articles once published in the opposition newspapersâ€

â€œReading the materials related to Azerbaijan on the WikiLeaks it turns out that they are fictitious articles once published in the opposition newspapersâ€, Deputy Chairman, Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov told the journalists, APA reports.

According to him, the heads of some diplomatic corps follow the newspapers published in the countries where they work, along with other written reports they prepare reports basing on the news articles released in the mass media and send them to their countries: â€œBut the reality is that the considerable part of the news articles released by the Azerbaijani press, especially by the pro-opposition newspapers are not true. Unfortunately, the fictitious materials once published in Azerbaijani opposition newspapers were sent to the US by the representatives of the US embassy as real materials related to Azerbaijan. Thus, they put their country in difficult situationâ€.

Reminding that WikiLeaks also released reports about other countries, Ali Ahmadov considers that it will cause distrust in those countries with regard to the representatives of the US diplomatic corps.
â€œBut I suppose that it shouldnâ€™t seriously influence the relations between countries,â€ he said.
