President Ilham Aliyev congratulates staff of Shusha secondary school #1 on jubilee

President said that the school had made valuable contributions to the development of the national education system and the history of our culture.
â€œSince its establishment, the school, where a number of outstanding public figures studied, had praiseworthy merits in bringing up new generation of progressive intellectuals, widening the cultural, educational movement in the country.â€

It is noted that as a result of the ethnic cleansing policy pursued by Armenia during Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the economic and social infrastructure of Shusha was completely destroyed.
â€œSince 1992 Shusha secondary school #1 has been obliged to settle in Baku. Your school has done much to preserve its pedagogical traditions. I believe that the staff of the school will do its best for the moral purity of the young generation.â€

The head of state has also issued an order to confer the title of â€œHonorary Teacherâ€ on teacher of Shusha secondary school #1 Sevil Hasan Babayeva for her merits in the field of education.

Under another order issued by President Ilham Aliyev, teachers of Shusha secondary school #1, Abdulazimova Gulshan Gafar and Karimova Bahar Huseyn have been awarded with Tereggi medal.
