CEC passes decision on extending the term of investigating appeals on elections

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA Today, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has held next meeting, APA reports. Appeals on parliamentary elections on November 7, 2010 were reviewed at the meeting. CEC Secretary Natig Mammadov noted that there was occurred a problem on signature in the appeal sent to CEC by Head of Central Executive Department of Musavat Party Arif Hajili, who was a candidate from Surakhani Constituency #30: “Arif Hajili’s signature in his ID Card completely differs from the one in his appeal. For this reason, accuracy of the signature must be checked”.

It was decided at the discussions that the signature in the appeal should sent to expertise.

Further, other appeals were reviewed. CEC passed decision on extending the term of investigating appeals on elections. CEC Chairman Mezahir Panahov stated that the appeals were comprehensively investigated by a group of experts.
