President of Azerbaijan: “There are thousands, ten thousands of heroes like Mubariz and Farid in our armyâ€
The President said this was mournful, but honorable farewell day: “Mubariz and Farid fell in the battles for their Homeland in their lands. They showed real heroism and bravery. Mubariz Ibrahimov killed five enemy soldiers and wounded three in unequal battle and then became martyr. Mubariz knew that he wouldn’t survive in that battle, but love to Motherland, patriotic spirit helped him to reach martyrdom. Mubariz is an example for all young peopleâ€.
The President said Farid Ahmadov also fell while fulfilling his military duty. “Both of them were honored with high awards by the government of Azerbaijan. I offer condolences to the parents and relatives of the martyrsâ€.
I expressed gratitude to the parents of the martyrs that they grew up such heroes and their patriotic education made Mubariz and Farid to reach summit of martyrdom. Every loss in the contact line is painful for us, but we are at war and with their heroism Mubariz and Farid proved to our enemies that Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijani youth are ready to give their lives for Homeland. This is great heroism, example of bravery and patriotismâ€.
President said the entire Azerbaijan supported the families of Farid and Mubariz, the people demonstrated solidarity.
“I know that during all these months our citizens, people living in various regions visited the families of our martyrs, offered condolences, demonstrated solidarity with them. Short and honorable lives of Mubariz and Farid united the Azerbaijani people more. Today is a very honourable day. We are bidding farewell to our sons. I am sure that their dear memory will stay in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people forever. There are thousands, tens of thousands of heroes like Mubariz and Farid in our army. They are awaiting the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. They are ready to liberate their native lands. The Azerbaijani Army is the mightiest, most professional army in the South Caucasus and the heroism of our martyrs proves this once more. We have got not only a lot of weapons, military equipment, fighting opportunities, our army is in high spirits. We have not occupied the territory of any country. Our territories have been under occupation for long years. We do not have territorial claims for any other country. But we will not give an inch of our territory to anybody. We will restore our territorial integrity. Mubariz and Farid did not die in the territory of another state, they were killed in their native lands,†he said.
President said one day Azerbaijan will restore its territorial integrity.
“We want to solve it through negotiations. We do not want our young people to be killed. We want our youth to live, study, work for Motherland, state. Every loss in the front-line is very painful for us. Therefore, we try to solve this issue peacefully, through negotiations. Azerbaijan’s positions are strengthening in the process of negotiations. Our position is supported by the political and legal truth, Azerbaijan prevails over Armenia for any parameter. This prevalence was not formed by us, it was formed by the Azerbaijani people. Our prevalence in terms of political, economic and military aspects is obvious. I want to reiterate on such an honorable day that we will not hold negotiations just for negotiations.
We will not let Armenia engage in imitation of negotiations. We will conduct negotiations till that time, so we will have a hope of restoration of our territorial integrity therefore. If we see it is impossible, Azerbaijani state will restore its territorial integrity in a military way. I do not doubt that we have all opportunities for it - combat readiness, material-technical supply, enough ammunition, professional Army, high spirit and the will of Azerbaijani nation. We can restore our territorial integrity in a military way at any time. And the enemy must know it and it knowsâ€.
The head of the state knows that territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is not a topic for negotiations and it will never be so: “Azerbaijan will restore its territorial integrity. Nagorno Karabakh is our native, eternal land. Azerbaijani nation lived in Nagorno Karabakh and surrounding places for centuries. Today’s Armenia has been established on historical lands of Azerbaijan. Yerevan khanate, Zangazur district are our historical lands. We can never let Armenia to establish the second Armenian state on the our native land - Nagorno Karabakh. Azerbaijani nation will never reconcile with this situation. We have all opportunities for regulation of this problem. We just try to use the process of negotiation maximally. We do not want a war. Who may want a war? But we will never reconcile with this situation as well. We have mobilized all our efforts to fulfill the duty. Bravery and heroism of our martyred sons once more shows that we are able to do itâ€.
