Azerbaijani President: "All the Armed Forces have to be ready to liberate native lands from occupation by the order of the Supreme Commander"

According to APA, President stressed the importance of army building issue and said that it is priority task for a country living under war condition. â€œThis is so, and the army building in Azerbaijan is the priority issue. For many years we have suffered from aggression, our lands are under occupation. At any time we have to be able to liberate our homeland from invaders. Along with political and diplomatic efforts, we must have a strong army, and this process is going well. Today the level of the Azerbaijani army is very highâ€, he said.

The President stressed that the growing professionalism and fighting capacity of the army is exhilarated. Also, strengthening the material-technical base of Azerbaijani army and in recent years in that direction have been taken very big steps. The State allocates sufficient funds to meet all the needs of the national army. The President said that during the seven years of military expenditure in Azerbaijan increased by more than 13 times. Today in Azerbaijan military expenditures for 2010 amount to 2 billion 150 million dollars, which exceeds the entire state budget of Armenia. â€œSeveral years ago the goal was set that the military expenditures of Azerbaijan have to outrun the expenditures of Armenia. This goal has already been implemented. We will continue to increase our military power, to procure all necessary for our army weapons, ammunition and equipmentâ€, said Ilham Aliyev. The President announced that Azerbaijan will also take further steps for the production of military products. In recent years, was given great attention to this area. At present, Azerbaijan has 21 military enterprise, military factory, established 30 manufacturing sites.

Supreme Commander noted that all have to be done for the Azerbaijani army, the Armed Forces of equipment, weapons and ammunition produced in Azerbaijan. "We will further strengthen our work in this direction. For this country, of course, must be financial resources, economic strength, and we create that power", he said.

We can say that all organizations, leading organizations in the world made a decision on this matter. However, the State invader ignores these decisions and resolutions. In this case before Azerbaijan faces new challenges: either to continue negotiations - we ready for this, but only on condition that these negotiations will be the result, or else choose another path. We have to be ready for any variant, and this again shows the statements I have made repeatedly over the past few years, he said.

Ilham Aliyev especially stressed that Azerbaijan has never denied the possibility of military solutions to the issue. Despite the fact that we stand for peace talks.
