President Ilham Aliyev visits construction site of new building of Azerbaijan Carpet and Ornamental Art Museum

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the construction site of the new building of Azerbaijan Carpet and Ornamental Art Museum in the territory of the National Seaside Park and saw the project of the Azerbaijan Musical Culture Museum as well. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev informed the head of state about the construction work, APA reports.

The new building constructed on the basis of the joint project of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and UNESCO will be notable for its architectural style and extraordinary form. Following the construction work greenery planting work will be started around the building and the museum complex will be established there. The head of state and his wife saw the national ornaments decorated top of the building. President Ilham Aliyev made recommendations for conducting the construction work in accordance with the international standards.

Then the head of state and his wife looked at the project of the Azerbaijan Musical Culture Museum to be constructed in the territory named as Venice Town. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev informed the President and First lady about the project. Notes of the Azerbaijanâ€™s national anthem will be engraved on top of the building. It is scheduled to complete the working project by the end of the year and to start construction next year.

Then President Aliyev and his wife visited the site where the Azerbaijan Musical Culture Museum will be constructed.
