Opposition parties to hold joint meeting on amendments and annexes to Electoral Code of Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. The opposition parties will hold a joint meeting on the amendments and annexes proposed to the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan by the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told APA. He said he suggested to Musavat Party, Freedom Block and other opposition parties to discuss these proposals and to make possible steps. “They have not responded yet and it is not clear when the meeting will take place. I think the opposition should express its opinion soon. All other problems related to this issue should be put aside. We have to show same position even with YAP if it is necessary for the democratic elections in the countryâ€.
