Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director-General of ICESCO, visited the headquarters of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, APA reports.
Within the framework of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held on the preservation of cultural heritage, the expansion of scientific cooperation, and the development of mutual institutional support.
A the meeting, possible activities for further expanding cooperation between the Foundation and ICESCO, as well as the joint promotion of cultural heritage on international platforms, were discussed. In addition, an exchange of views was held on the impact of contemporary global challenges on cultural heritage, strengthening effective international cooperation for the preservation of cultural heritage, and the relevance of the humanitarian mission in the field of culture.
Finally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, envisaging the international promotion of Turkish-Islamic cultural heritage and the strengthening of a strategic partnership between the parties.
