The transmission pumping station of the Baku–Batumi oil pipeline, built in 1904 and located in the Karrar village of Kurdamir district, may be included in the list of historical and cultural monuments, the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage told APA in response to an inquiry.
According to the information, the facility is not currently included in the list of historical and cultural monuments under state protection. However, taking into account its historical and architectural significance, it has been registered, and the issue of including it in the list of historical and cultural monuments will be considered at one of the upcoming meetings of the Expert Council on the Identification of Immovable Cultural Property under the Ministry of Culture.
