First day of 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue wraps up in Baku

The first day of the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue has ended in Baku, APA reports.

Within the framework of the first day, in total, 3 plenary sessions, 4 panel sessions, the fifth summit of ministers, and the third summit of international organizations were held.

During the sessions, the speakers exchanged views on relevant topics.

The speakers mentioned several problems and threats currently in the world and noted that they favor increasing the dialogues.

Note that a total of 700 guests from different countries are participating in the Forum themed “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interconnectivity”.

Among the participants representing more than 100 countries, along with ministers, are representatives of the Ministries of Culture of 60 countries and 28 international organizations.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is held in partnership with international organizations, including the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), UNESCO, ISESCO, and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Note that the event will take place on May 1-3.
