The closing ceremony of "Shusha – OIC Youth Capital" was held, APA reports.
The ceremony featured speeches by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, Aydin Karimov, Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, Taha Ayhan, and other officials.
Aydin Karimov stated that the construction of Garabagh University by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev and the fact that students study here is the result of the care shown by the head of state to the youth.
Minister Farid Gayibov stated during his speech that holding such an event in Shusha, Azerbaijan's cultural capital, is a great honor.
The Minister also expressed his gratitude to the youth coming from Islamic countries for their active participation.
At the end of the official part of the event, the symbolic key of the OIC Youth Capital was handed over by Shusha's youth to Moroccan officials.
Recall that the "OIC Youth Capital Forum" will be held in Morocco next year.
