A memorandum of bilateral cooperation has been signed between the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre (Azdrama) and the Belarus' Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre, Azdrama told APA.
The memorandum was signed by Ilham Asgarov, Director of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre and Honored Cultural Worker, and Aleksandr Shestakov, Director of Belarus' Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dmitry Shlyahtin, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, and Maharram Aliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Belarus.
Ilham Asgarov expressed gratitude to the Ministries of Culture of Azerbaijan and Belarus for their support. He noted that under the memorandum, plans include organizing tours of creative groups, culture days, festivals, exhibitions, and other cultural events, as well as arranging mutual visits of delegations composed of cultural figures and creative teams.
