A presentation by Azerbaijani representatives took place at a grand ceremony dedicated to the 54th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates, the State Border Service’s Press Center told APA.
A cavalry unit of the State Border Service (SBS) also participated in the ceremony at the official invitation of the UAE:
“The joint performance of the national dance group and the orchestra showcased the richness of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage and the ancient traditions of our people to the world. The noble stance of the Karabakh horses, the harmonious compositions of the dance group, and the live performance of the orchestra added an unforgettable color to the atmosphere of the event.
The presentation by the Azerbaijani delegation at the official ceremony was met with great interest and received thunderous applause from the audience. One of the most remarkable moments was the personal attendance of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His watching of the performance, the respect he showed toward Azerbaijani culture, and his high appreciation of the program made the moment even more memorable.
The joint performance of the SBS cavalry unit, the dance ensemble, and the orchestra became one of the most unforgettable parts of the ceremony.
This magnificent appearance in Abu Dhabi served as a cultural window through which our country presented itself to the world and added a new page to the international recognition of Karabakh horses, our music, and our dance art.”
