The 10th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) on "United in Peace: Restoring Trust, Reshaping the Future" will be held in the Portuguese city of Cascais on November 26-27, APA reports.
The forum, which will also be attended by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Alliance of Civilizations.
For this purpose, Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli visited Portugal. The visit is taking place at the invitation of the High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Ángel Moratinos.
It should be noted that the UN Alliance of Civilizations, established in 2005 on the basis of the "Alliance of Civilizations" initiative put forward by Türkiye and Spain, unites more than 100 countries, including Azerbaijan.
