Azerbaijani Shusha hosts "SINA - Forum of Young Scientists from Islamic Countries"

"Young scientists must represent science at a high level in the Islamic world," Vice President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Dilgam Taghiyev said in his opening speech at the "SINA - Forum of Young Scientists from Islamic Countries," APA reports.

"Currently, over 320,000 people are receiving higher education at 51 universities in our country, 96% of whom are young people. Azerbaijan has 134 scientific institutions, where 14,000 researchers are active, the majority of whom are young."

"Holding such an event in Shusha, the pearl and cultural capital of Azerbaijan, is a commendable step and these events will play a significant role in strengthening cooperation among youth in the future."

He also noted that more than 200 young foreigners from 29 countries are participating in the "Youth Capital" events.

Speaking at the forum organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, and the Ministry of Culture, Ramil Jabbarov, Head of the Youth Issues Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, stated that this forum, which brings together innovations, advancements, and young scientists, will serve as a hub for heated discussions and will pave the way for future collaborations.

Note that the forum will conclude on December 4.
