A bilateral meeting was held between Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Alessandro Giuli, Minister of Culture of Italy, who is on a visit to Italy, APA reports.
Alessandro Giuli, who warmly greeted his Azerbaijani counterpart at the meeting held on December 19, noted that relations between the two countries in the fields of trade and energy have developed at a high level.
He noted that the Italian side is also interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of culture. "We highly appreciate the contributions of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the restoration of historical and religious heritage in Italy, as well as in the Vatican, and for this we express our gratitude to the Azerbaijani side," the Italian minister added.
The meeting exchanged views on artistic education, management of cultural centers, organization of mutual tours of musical groups and other issues of mutual interest.
