Azerbaijan prevents four more songs performed by Shovkat Alakbarova from being presented as examples of Armenian music

Four more songs performed by Shovkat Alakbarova have been prevented from being presented as examples of Armenian music, APA reports.

During the investigation conducted by the Intellectual Property Agency, it was determined that the song “Tohfa” recorded on video and performed by Shovket Alakbarova was posted on the YouTube page “BehrooZ Abshar” under the name “Armenian Music, Caucasian (Torkish language) Music 10. Shovket Alakbarova (rare)”, the song “Getmə amandır” under the name “Armenian Music, Caucasian (Torkish language) Music 11. Shovket Alakbarova (rare) Music 13.”, the song “Yavash-yavash” under the name “Armenian Music, Caucasian (Torkish language) Music 12 Shovket Alakbarova (rare)” and the song “Bayram shamları” under the name “Armenian music, Caucasian (Torkish language) Music 13 Shovket Alakbarova (rare)” as a sample of Armenian music.

The management of the property rights of the singer Sh. Alakberova on YouTube is carried out by “Mikpro” LLC, operating in this field in Baku. As a result of the measures taken by the Intellectual Property Agency with the involvement of “Mikpro” LLC, the above-mentioned 4 videos that violated Sh. Alekberova’s rights as a performer were removed from the “BehrooZ Abshar” page on YouTube.

Thus, the violation of Sh. Alakberova’s rights as a performer was confirmed by the YouTube administration and her violated rights were restored.
