A book of remembrance has been opened at Azerbaijan's Permanent Delegation to UNESCO in connection with the day of mourning declared following the crash of a passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines on the Baku-Grozny flight, the Delegation told APA.
Foreign permanent representatives and diplomats accredited to UNESCO visited the Permanent Delegation to offer their condolences and wrote messages in the book of remembrance.
Additionally, letters of condolence were sent to the Permanent Delegation on behalf of the Director-General of UNESCO as well as the President of the UNESCO General Conference, Simona Miculescu.
Note that letters of condolence from the Permanent Delegations are being sent to the Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan to UNESCO.
