A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and the world-renowned Austrian jewelry brand FREYWILLE, the Ministry of Culture told APA.
As part of the collaboration, FREYWILLE will create a new collection based on Garabagh carpets and their unique patterns. The collection, aimed at promoting the ancient Azerbaijani carpet-making heritage globally, will combine modern art and jewelry technology with the rich history of the Azerbaijani people and will be presented to the public soon.
As a result of the collaboration with the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, the FREYWILLE brand will, for the first time, use Azerbaijani carpet patterns and motifs in the design of its jewelry pieces.
Note that founded in 1951 and run by Friedrich Wille for over 30 years, FREYWILLE is a leading brand in the production of exclusive artistic jewelry.
