Head of Azerbaijani delegation: Arash is not considered the participant of Eurovision-2009

Head of Azerbaijani delegation in Eurovision contest Adil Karimli told APA that work continued on the song. He said local arrangers and Ukrainian specialists had been involved in the preparation of the final version of the song.
â€œWork continues on the final version of the song. Thatâ€™s why â€œAlwaysâ€ has not been presented. I want to underline that national musical instruments of Azerbaijan are used in preparation of the final version. Moreover, the song will contain features of Azerbaijani songs,â€ he said.

Head of Azerbaijani delegation said Aysel Teymurzadeh and Arash will give concert in Baku after the final version of the song is ready. Adil Karimli said Azerbaijanâ€™s representative in Eurovision song contest 2009 is Aysel Teymurzadeh.
â€œArash will sing duet with Aysel Teymurzadeh. Arash is not considered the participant of the contest,â€ he said.

As regards Arashâ€™s singing with Aysel Teymurzadeh, head of the delegation said it had been made for a change.
â€œArashâ€™s song and his singing together with Azerbaijanâ€™s representative were regarded as normal. The decision was made by the specialistsâ€™ opinion. We based on the opinion of specialists, in order not to make a mistake,â€ he said.

Adil Karimli also commented on promo-tours of Azerbaijanâ€™s representative before Eurovision 2009. Karimli said promo-tours would start from the middle of March and noted that they had received invitations from a number of countries.
â€œWe have received invitation for promo-tours from Latvia and Moldova. But the main thing for us is the preparation. Maybe there will not be promo-tours at all,â€ he said.

Adil Karimli underlined that local specialists and Ukrainians had been involved to make decoration and clothes for Aysel Teymurzadeh and Arash in Eurovision Song Contest 2009.
