Information Center opens in Central Mobile Library Fund named after Maksim Gorki

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Information Center has been opened in Central Mobile Library Fund named after Maksim Gorki today, APA reports. Director of the library Nushaba Alakbarova said the aim of establishing the center was to meet the needs of the people for information. She said readers would get an immediate access to all the books in the National Libraryâ€™s Fund through the information center established by Baku Culture and Tourism Department and National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov.
Director of the National Library Karim Tahirov said such information centers would be established in all the libraries of Baku.
â€œThis is the first library linked to the local network of the National Library. We send all the data in the National Library to other libraries through the electronic resources and it solves the readersâ€™ problem of place,â€ he said.
Tahirov said through the information centre the readers could have an access to the European e-library, as well as to the funds of national libraries of 47 countries, Library of Congress and Russian State Library.
