Annual conference of European authors to be held in Baku

Annual conference of European authors devoted to the 10th anniversary of â€œCompendium of Cultural Policies and Trends in Europeâ€ will be held in Baku on December 4-5, Press Service of Culture and Tourism Ministry told APA. The Press Service said Director of the Ministryâ€™s sector for cooperation with international organizations and programs Yashar Huseynli had participated in the meeting of national coordinators in the Council of Europe â€œFundraising strategy and its applicationâ€. Baku conference, as well as the publication of â€œCollection of compendium and cultural policyâ€ was discussed at the meeting of the coordinators with Robert Palmer, Head of the Directorate of Culture and Cultural and Natural Heritage at the Council of Europe and Kathrin Merkle, head of Cultural Policy, Diversity and Dialogue Division. Robert Palmer said experts of several leading member states of ISESCO would be sent to Azerbaijan to attend Baku Conference of the National Authors.
