Baku –APA. A memorial party dedicated to the famous Azerbaijani artist late Rashid Behbudov took place on September 11 in Netanya, Israel, Director General of Israel-Azerbaijan International Association Lev Spivak told APA. The party was organized by the head of Association’s Netanya office Alan Katrich, who worked with Rashid Behbudov once. Welcoming the participants, member of Israeli parliament Robert Ilatov said such events were important for protection of traditions and meeting of different cultures. Mikhail Agarunov, who was Rashid Behbudov’s neighbor in Baku for long years, shared his memoirs about him.
Jewish people migrated not only from Azerbaijan, but other post-soviet countries also participated at the party. They listened the songs of Rashid Behbudov’s repertoire.
