List of Azerbaijani monuments in Iran to be made

Baku. Laura Jabrayilli â€“ APA. â€œArmenian churches in Iran have been inscribed on UNESCOâ€™s cultural heritage list. Iranian side was informed about our remarks and proposals during the visit of our delegation headed by Deputy Minister Adalat Valiyev and it is planned to make the list of Azerbaijani monuments in this country and prepare data about Khudaferin bridge by this year-end,â€ Azerbaijanâ€™s Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev said, APA reports. The minister said that the work continues on inscribing ashug art on UNESCOâ€™s non-material monuments list.
â€œWe are also working on inscribing Nakhchivan sepulchers and historical monuments in Shaki on the world heritage list. We can not present the historical monuments in our occupied territories to the cultural heritage list, since we have no information about their present state,â€ he said.
Abulfaz Garayev said that Azerbaijan has about 300 historical monuments in the occupied territories.
