Baku hosts International Symposium and Exhibition â€œCommonness of National Dresses and Modern Fashionâ€ â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. International Symposium and Exhibition â€œCommonness of National Dresses and Modern Fashionâ€ took place on Saturday at the Museum of Azerbaijan History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The symposium was organized by the Azerbaijan Culture Friends Fund, SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Culture Exchange Association, Korean Fashion Association, Turkish-Korean Culture Exchange Association, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Hyundai Auto Azerbaijan.

SEBA president Ruhangiz Heydarova spoke about the importance of the international symposium in her welcoming speech. â€œI hope this event will leave good impression. It is very important to carry out cultural exchanges. SEBA organized all its events under the auspices of the Azerbaijan Culture Friends Fund over the past five years and it continues this tradition todayâ€.

Heydarova said every people described their ethnic peculiarities in their national dresses. â€œIt is seen from the national dresses exhibition organized within the symposiumâ€.

Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lew Kwang-chul, Azerbaijanâ€™s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Sevda Mammadaliyeva, Chairman of Korean Association of Fashion and Dress design Kim Byon Mi and other made speeches and stressed the importance of the event.

Delivering a speech at the International Symposium, Director of Azerbaijan Literature Museum named after Nizami, MP Rafael Huseynov, Director of Azerbaijani Carpet and Peopleâ€™s Applied Museum Roya Tagiyeva and others shared their views on researches they had conducted in the fields of national and modern dressing. It should be noted that 1340 guests from Korea, Turkey, and Bulgaria as well as the representatives of diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan attended the event. Approximately 100 works have been demonstrated within the framework of the international symposium.
