Culture Days of Qatar to be held in Azerbaijan

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva â€“ APA. Culture Days of Qatar will be held in Azerbaijan on June 8-12, spokesman for Culture and Tourism Ministry Intigam Humbatov told APA. Secretary General of Qatarâ€™s National Council for Culture, Art and Heritage Mubarak bin Nasser al-Khalifa will lead 58-man delegation. The official opening ceremony of Qatar Culture Days will be held in the Museum Center on June 9. Short film about Qatar and its customs and traditions will be demonstrated, fine arts exhibition will be held during the ceremony. Humbatov said traditional Qatar tents will be put up outside the museum, ship making and henna crafts demonstrated, national sweets prepared within the framework of culture days. Dr. Khalid Yusif Er-Derbeshti will deliver a lecture in the National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov on the theme of investment opportunities in Qatar. Folklore dance group will perform in the Song Theater named after Rashid Behbudov. The delegation will visit Mardakan settlement on June 10 and Surakhany district on June 11.
