Major digital assets mostly posted negative performance over the past 24 hours in the cryptocurrency market, APA-Economics reports.
Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, fell 0.17% over the past 24 hours to $64,101.90.
Among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, Ethereum declined 0.05% to $3,055.89, XRP dropped 0.68% to $4.0489, and BNB edged down 0.03% to $956.09. Tether (USDT) gained 0.08% to $1.00. Solana rose 0.04% to $211.21, while Dogecoin advanced 0.46% to $0.37095.
According to analysts, the mixed market performance is driven by investors' expectations regarding the US Federal Reserve's interest rate policy, profit-taking, and declining risk appetite in global financial markets. While these factors increased selling pressure on major cryptocurrencies, selective buying of some altcoins supported price gains.
