On June 27, the price of Bitcoin saw a slight drop on cryptocurrency exchanges, APA reports.
As of 11:00 Baku time, the world’s most valuable cryptocurrency decreased by 0.46% on the CoinMarketCap platform, reaching $107,357.
The price of Ethereum also fell over the past 24 hours, dropping by 1.46% to $2,447. Among the top five cryptocurrencies, XRP declined by 4.14%, while BNB rose slightly by 0.15%.
At the same time, the market’s leading stablecoin, Tether (USDT), remained unchanged at $1.00.
Analysts note that today’s declines are mainly due to reduced global liquidity, a strengthening US dollar, and a shift of investors toward riskier assets. Selling pressure is particularly strong on altcoins like XRP and Ethereum.
It is worth noting that Bitcoin’s highest price this year was recorded on May 22, when it exceeded $110,000.
