On the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of Bitcoin (BTC), the market’s largest cryptocurrency, increased by 1.28% to $80,601. Bitcoin’s market capitalization amounts to $1.61 trillion.
The price of Ethereum (ETH), the market’s second largest cryptocurrency, decreased by 0.19% to $2,256. The price of Binance Coin (BNB) increased by 1.56% to $678.7.
At the same time, among digital assets backed by gold, Tether Gold (XAUt) decreased by 2.15% to $4,584.9, while PAX Gold (PAXG) fell by 2.22% to $4,582.1.
Among other major cryptocurrencies, Zcash (ZEC) increased by 2.95% to $544.1, Bittensor (TAO) rose by 3.27% to $305.1, while the price of Monero (XMR) decreased by 0.78% to $396.2.
The CoinMarketCap 20 index (CMC20) also increased by 1.26% to 163.34 points. This indicates that the overall positive sentiment in the market is being maintained.
The market capitalization increased overall by 1.34% over the past 24 hours, reaching $2.68 trillion.
According to analysts, the growth in the cryptocurrency market is mainly related to the increasing interest of investors in risky assets, Bitcoin remaining above the $80,000 level, and the continued inflow of capital into spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States.
