"Our government, in its third mandate, has made a strategic decision. In our first mandate, Croatia acquired a floating liquefied natural gas terminal. This terminal not only meets our own needs — providing us with 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas annually — but we can also increase its capacity to 6.1 billion cubic meters, which will serve as a gas source for neighboring countries," stated the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, who is attending COP29 in Baku, APA reports.

The Prime Minister added that, therefore, if Russian gas is not transported to European Union countries through Ukraine, this will at least not have a significant impact on Croatia.
