An event titled “Launch of Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative for Farmers: Empowering Farmers for Climate Resilience” is being held within the framework of COP29, APA reports.
The event will mark the official opening of the Food, Agriculture, and Water Day, where the COP29 Bureau, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), will launch the Baku Harmony Climate Initiative for Farmers.
Harmony aims to align diverse agricultural initiatives for greater coherence and sharing of experiences to have greater impact. The Harmony Initiative will act as an aggregator, bringing together different initiatives, coalitions, networks, and partnerships to strengthen farmers, villages and rural communities.
