"Climate finance is not just about money, it is also about ensuring food security for our people and creating better opportunities for rural communities," Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elchin Zeynalov said this at an event on "Financing the transformation of the agricultural system" held within the framework of COP29, APA reports.
“We understand that financing alone is not enough. We need partnerships, knowledge and shared commitment. Together with international partners, we want to create a strong climate finance system that can truly support our farmers. By aligning our national policies with global climate finance mechanisms, we can mobilize both public and private capital to meet the climate adaptation needs of our farmers,” the Deputy Minister added.
