Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the words of Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili that Russian tourists should continue to come to the country, despite political differences, APA reports.
“If tourists from Russia need something, it’s not to feel that security, but that they are welcomed as the most valuable guests, that they came to rest and not read reports from domestic political fields every day and get round, as recommended by the Ministry of Georgia’s tourism, “large concentrations of people in Tbilisi,” Zakharova wrote on Facebook.
The diplomat considers it obvious that the statement "was already prepared using a calculator."
Earlier, Zurabishvili said that tourists should continue to come, because they love Georgia.
She also noted that the task of politicians is to solve the problems underlying the incident.
